This is a one day mini course designed to gain the essentials of Islamic knowledge for youth at the high school and college entry levels (Age Group 15-21 yrs)

Meaning of religion and definitions of Islam, Iman, and Ihsan

Quran as the source and origin of all knowledge

Sunnah and Hadith – the exemplary model for human life

2. Creator, Human beings, Universe – relationships

Allah (SWT), the compassionate and the Merciful

Men and Women as complementary beings

The Universe, Allah’s creation

The Hereafter, the central reality of every human being

3. The Shariah

Contents of Shariah – Ibadat and muamalat

Family and Society

Justice, morality, and human rights

Other aspects

4. Young Muslims and the Islamic response to the modern world
